PRODUCTION

The meteorological year brought sharp contrasts in temperature and rainfall, along with an unusually warm autumn. 2023 began with abundant rainfall, which benefited the soil’s water reserves, crucial for the vines. The lowest temperatures were recorded in February (-6.1°C), without causing significant damage. The warm spring favored good budbreak and vine growth, and the absence of rain reduced the risk of fungal diseases. The summer accelerated grape ripening, increasing sugar accumulation, although the lack of rainfall subjected the plants to water stress. In September, conditions were favorable for the harvest, with aerated, healthy grapes of balanced ripeness.

The grapes were harvested by hand with fruit selection in the vineyard. Destemming and pre-fermentation maceration at low temperature for 6 hours. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks below 20 °C. Aged for 5 months on its fine lees with weekly battonage.

TASTING NOTES

It shows an elegant pale yellow color, with steely and greenish edges, very clean and crystalline. The nose has a great intensity, where we immediately perceive a wide palette of aromas of ripe white fruit, grapefruit, honeyed flowers, and aromatic herbs. The entry on the palate is ample and glyceric. With a good acidity that allows a very pleasant passage through the mouth and a powerful, very long, and persistent aftertaste that keeps the aromatic memory alive.
